About Me

Who:  I'm Kevin; a multi genre photographer located in the County Borough of Caerphilly in South Wales.

How:  My unconventional path into photography came via nine years in the Royal Navy followed by in excess of 25 years in the Fire and Rescue Service. I have a Masters qualification in Business Administration.  I've not had any formal photographic training and am completely self taught.  There are loads of great online resources available.  You just need to have time and a hunger to learn.

Why:  Photography is my passion.  The biggest satisfaction I get from my photography is providing people with a set of images that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.  Making other people happy makes me happy.

The way I work:  I'm a natural light photographer whilst competent with flash when the situation demands.  My approach, passion and infectious enthusiasm, and how it translates into your pictures, is what separates my work from others.  I will inject a little fun, help you relax, blend into the background when needed, capture moments you hadn't realised had happened, get on well with everyone and deliver a set of images that you'll love. 

Your vision:  Whilst my skills, knowledge and experience are invaluable, I love to hear about and work with your own plans and ideas.  

My style:  Beautiful natural portraits, capturing real emotion and being able to encapsulate the story of your day through imagery is my ultimate aim. Photography is often about being in the right place at the right time.   

Your images:  Your images are yours to hold onto in full resolution presented on bespoke luxury USB drives.  A 'print license' is provided so getting pictures printed with your preferred supplier is easy.

I am fully insured included public liability and professional indemnity.

My equipment includes 2 x Sony A7iii cameras and Sony prime lenses.
